The Sustainability Forum on Natural Stone (SFNS) is a non-for-profit multi-stakeholder initiative founded in 2013 with the mission of creating an eco-system to address the voice of Rajasthan's most vulnerable and marginalised mine workers and developing an inclusive and sustainable road map for the natural stone sector.
Our mission is to build and implement an inclusive and sustainable road map for the natural stone sector in Rajasthan echoing the voice of the most vulnerable and marginalized mine workers across Rajasthan (India).
SFNS is called a multi-stakeholder initiative because here diversified stakeholders with diversified interest join the forces together to create a sustainable and inclusive solution for the Natural stone sector.
SFNS is a non-for-profit organization registered as Society under the Rajasthan Societies Registration Act, 1958. It was registered in 2017. SFNS has its registered office in Rajasthan

The SFNS secretariate has the discretion to accept or decline any membership request. Members are required to renew their membership every year (April to March) by submitting a formal request to SFNS for their membership renewal. SFNS is not charging any fee from its non-secretariat members. However, in case of any change in the membership fee policy of the organization, SFNS will communicate the changes to its members and new applicants to meet the membership obligations.
